News reports in Damascus said that the Syrian authorities released on Tuesday evening Imas Sheiha ( 51) year old, the oldest political prisoner in the Syrian jails after he had spent 30 years in prison after he was convicted of belonging to the Arab communist organization. - Jordan's prime minister in Damascus next week
An official source in Amman said yesterday that the Jordanian prime minister Faisal al-Fayez will visit Damascus by the beginning of next week in order o hold talks with his Syrian counterpart Naji Otari and senior Syrian officials on bilateral issues especially border violations.
