Who we are

This notice explains what personal data ArabicNews.com processes when you read the site or contact us. You can reach us about privacy through our contact form (topic “Privacy / personal data”).

Reading the site

ArabicNews.com does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and does not load fonts, scripts or other content from third-party services when you read the site. We do not build profiles of readers.

Like every website, our server records technical information about each request (such as the IP address, the browser and the page requested) in its logs. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are kept for a limited period.

Contacting us

When you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, the topic, your message and the page you came from, so that we can reply. We do not store your IP address with your message; to prevent abuse we keep only a one-way code derived from it. Messages are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted automatically. They are read only by the ArabicNews editorial team and are not shared, sold or used for marketing.

We process this data because you choose to contact us and agree to it when you send the form.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its processing, through the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Changes

If we start using analytics, advertising or other services that process personal data, we will update this notice, and ask for your consent where the law requires it, before they are used.
