  • The Tunisian president Zein El-Abidin Bin Ali issued a decision of appointing Afif Hindawi as minister of human rights, communication as well as relations with the deputies council instead of El-Dali El-Tazi. A press statement issued by the Tunisian embassy in Cairo said that 'the reshuffle also comprised appointing Abd El-Raouf El-Basiti as a head for the Tunisian radio and T.V corporation to succeed Fathi El-Howaidi yet the statement did not reveal the reasons behind these sudden reshuffle.   • The Sudanese president Omar El-Bashir said that his country is working through the Egyptian - Libyan initiative on achieving the rapport and the full and comprehensive peace as well as solving all issue confronting it, referring that former head of the Sudanese state's council Ahmed El-Merghani -- a leader of the opposition democratic union party -- welcomed all the steps taken by the government to achieve peace in Sudan and he is completely ready to return to Khartoum following the leaders' return on the coming Thursday.   • Damascus and Khartoum decided on establishing a joint navigation company between the two states for serving joint trade between them through the second half of this year. The fund will be shared between the two states. Syrian sources said that this agreements comes in developing joint relations between the two states which comprise also increasing number of air trip, developing the joint cooperation in the transportation field, transportation, exchanging experiences in transportation and railways and land transportation.   • The Tunisian president Zein El-Abidin Bin Ali urged on establishing many committees and organizations for the European - African cooperation for following up implementing the Cairo declaration that was issued by the first Africa - Europe summit held in Cairo on Monday and Tuesday. In official statements today on his participation in works of this summit , Ben Ali said the 2 continents are able together to establish based on integration, solidarity and taking care of everyone's interests, renewing his call for establishing an international fund to protect against international crisis and disasters as a mechanism of the joint cooperation among international countries away from the political and economic interests.   • Former head of staff at the Moroccan Communications Ministry Mohamed Alili committed suicide Wednesday at his residence. Alili had to leave the job on January 27th this year after several complaints were filed against him.
