Slovak deputy foreign minister to visit Cairo soon
Slovak Deputy Foreign Minister Galibio Yaroslan is due to pay a visit to Cairo during September.
Regmound Britook, the charge de affairs at the Slovak embassy in Cairo, said today that this visit comes in light of the consultations between his country and Egypt in the different causes that concern the two countries. He said that the visit of the deputy of the Slovak foreign minister coincides with the meeting of the Arab League's council to be held in Cairo during the same month.
He stated that there was a chance of meeting for the Slovak official with the Arab foreign ministers in order to obtain these countries' support for the Slovak proposal to obtain non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council between December and the year 2001 which will be voted on within the UN General Assembly.
