Berri receives Egypt's ambassador in Beirut

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received Egypt's ambassador in Lebanon, Adel El-Khodary, yesterday, and they reviewed the current regional situation, the Lebanese arena, and bilateral ties between the two countries.

El-Khodary said in radio statements today that during the meeting they discussed current developments and diplomatic coordination between the two states in the international ceremonies in addition to the work of coming session of the UN General Assembly.

Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss also met yesterday with Adel El-Khodary, and they discussed the date on which the Egyptian - Lebanese high joint committee chaired by the two states' prime ministers will meet. The meeting is expected to take place before December.
