Well-informed sources in Doha said that the Iraqi foreign minister Naji Sabri will start a visit to Doha on Monday for two day as a special envoy for the Iraqi President. The sources added Sabri's visit will be in the context of a plenary Gulf tour which will start today by a visit to Bahrain and then the United Arab Emirates UAE and then Qatar and to be followed by Oman. The secretary general of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has denied any intention to postpone the convening of the GCC summit as a precaution in the event of a military attack against Iraq.
