Arab Americans launch campaign against Walt Disney
News agencies said that the head of the National Association of Arab Americans will boycott the Walt Disney Company because they think it is still determined to show Jerusalem as Israel's capital in its exhibit in Disney's Epcott Center for the third millennium.
Khalil E. Jahshan, the head of the association, told journalists during a visit to Ramallah city in the West Bank that the company's denials are not persuasive and that the NAAA is not convinced.
Disney said last week that it has removed any sign that Jerusalem is Israel's capital in its fair in the US city of Orlando, Florida.
Jahshan said, "We will not back off in boycotting Disney or calling for boycotting it all over the Arab and Islamic world and the USA."
The Arab League sent a delegation to Disney last week to inform the company that Jerusalem's final status has not yet been determined.
