Arab states to consider boycotting Walt Disney
The US Walt Disney company has subjugated to the Israeli pressures and decided to present the Israeli stand in its original form at the Disney fair to be held in Florida on October 1, depicting the occupied city of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
One Arab official said the representatives of the Arab League would meet in New York on Friday to discuss means of reacting to what he called "Disney's unacceptable and absurd response" to the Arab opposition to the Israeli millennium exhibition at Disney center.
The United Arab Emirates has repeatedly threatened to boycott Disney after the exhibit opens in October. Other Arab states favored taking actions against Disney, including Algeria, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Sudan, Syria, and the UAE, as well as non-Arab states, including Pakistan.
