Three Israeli soldiers wounded in south Lebanon

Originally published

The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday shelled several areas in Hasbaya and the western Bekaa, said Lebanese security sources. The sources added that more than 30 missiles fell over the Lebanese areas, especially in Maimass crossing and the hills of al-Daher mountain.

The sources added that the shelling coincided with intensive sorties carried out by Israeli warplanes.

Meanwhile, three Israeli soldiers, including an officer and a pro-Israeli militia soldier, were wounded on Tuesday in the eastern sector of the occupied zone of south Lebanon. A spokesman for the Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army militia said the injury was the result of a collision between two Israeli and militia military vehicles.

Later, sources of the Israeli occupation troops acknowledged the injury.

Some observers of the situation in south Lebanon stated that the collision is a demonstration of the state of fear among the Israeli troops and their allies due to operations carried out by Lebanese resistance forces.
