Continued Israeli aggressions against south Lebanon

Originally published

Israeli heavy artillery late on Tuesday night bombarded the surroundings of the Dulafa and Luci farms in the western Bekaa. The shelling was accompanied by a mopping-up campaign in the olive groves to the South of Qilya town.

Meanwhile, the pro-Israeli South Lebanon Army militia took strict security measures in the eastern sector, especially at the Zamraya crossing.

Israeli troops inside the occupied part of south Lebanon intensified their reconnaissance patrols on roads and crossings. On Wednesday, the Israeli troops erected a security cordon around the occupied town of Eitroun for unknown reasons. They also closed off Beit Yahoun crossing, stopping vehicles.

In retaliation, the Lebanese National resistance attacked a SLA militia force while it was reinforcing its Sujoud position.
