Libya ready for unity with Egypt, Ghadhafi
Libyan Leader Muammar Al-Ghadhafi said in Cairo Monday his country was ready to declare unity with Egypt.
He said Libya was ready to announce "immediate" unity with Egypt to counter what he termed occupational attempts which have failed to partition the Arab Nation, Kuwaiti news agency KUNA reported.
He called for strengthening Egypt because "the enemy was concentrating on Egypt... weakening Egypt will weaken the Arab Nation," he added.
Ghadhafi was speaking in a popular Conference in Al-Fayyoum Governorate.
He urged the Egyptians to stop emigrating to other countries to work and to rather participate in the country's development projects.
He anticipated water disputes to be major causes of wars in future.
The Libyan Leader is visiting Egypt where he held talks with President Hosni Mubarak and Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdel Maguid on the Lokerbie issue.
