Originally published

The council of the Arab health ministers has voiced its full backing and support for the Lebanese people, government and resistance forces against the Israeli occupation.

In a special resolution approved in Cairo on Wednesday at the conclusion of the meeting of the ordinary session held at AL headquarters under the chairmanship of Iraqi Minister of Health Dr. Omid Medhat, the council added that it put all facilities of the health ministers in the Arab states at the disposal of the Lebanese Ministry of Health when it is required.

In an earlier meeting for the council, the Lebanese Minister of Health Karam Karam reviewed latest developments in south Lebanon and preparations made by the Lebanese state's various departments to challenge the Israeli aggressions which "target every part of south Lebanon."

The council also expressed concern over the deteriorating health conditions of the Arab citizens in Palestine and other occupied Arab territories.
