Iraq bans importation of products bearing the American flag

The Iraqi daily Babel reported on Tuesday that Iraq had decided to prevent the importation of commodities which bear the American flag.

The Iraqi daily quoted an official at the Iraqi Ministry of Trade as saying that "border centers and sides responsible for checking commodities were informed about the decision." The decision views "the existence of the US flags as a violations of the specifications for imported commodities."
