Kuwait welcomes holding of Arab summit

Kuwaiti Minister of information Yousef Al-Sumait has expressed Kuwait's readiness to attend any Arab summit if it was well prepared, adding that Kuwait has declared this position clearly.

Speaking to the Egyptian daily Al-Akhbar published in Cairo on Friday, Al-Sumait asserted that Kuwait would never be an obstacle before the holding of this summit at any time, adding, "However, we want a successful summit with means of solidarity."

He added that Kuwait has always called for unity, refuting that his country was responsible for the deep crack between the Arab states.
