Lebanese Prime Minister denounces Turkish - Israeli alliance

Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri said after his talks yesterday in Damascus with Syrian Vice President Abdul Halim Khaddam that the Turkish - Israeli alliance and Turkey's stance toward the Arab world are unfortunate, and he stated that this development is not in Turkey's interest.

He said his earlier consultations in Paris and Washington tackled the peace process, deadlocked due to the positions of the Israeli government.
