Hariri to arrive in Damascus tomorrow from New York

Al-Sharq radio said on Monday that Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri will arrive in Damascus on Wednesday coming from New York to evaluate with Syrian officials the results of his talks together with the Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa with US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and US Undersecretary of State Martin Indyk.

The talks, however, resulted in convincing the US administration to revive its initiative and dispatch peace process envoy Dennis Ross and Indyk to the region, once again. The objective is to revive the Syrian and Lebanese tracks as well as the Palestinian track.
