Beirut criticizes proposal for conditional withdrawal from Jezzine

Lebanese political criticized yesterday the proposal made by Antoine Lahd, leader of the pro-Israeli South Lebanon Army militia, for the withdrawal of his troops from the occupied Jezzine area in south Lebanon in return for security arrangements from the Lebanese government .

The sources stated that the proposal did not contain anything new. The sources added that presenting the proposal anew aims at confusing the internal situation in Lebanon.
