New law for terrorism in Sudan

The Sudanese government is currently examing issuing a new law for combating terrorism. Othman Yassin, the Sudanese minister of justice, highlighted the importance of issuing a new law to address terrorism, "especially after the explosions" in Khartoum this week. Sudanese opposition sources expressed their fear that the Sudanese government plans to exploit the new law to impose more restrictions on the opposing, thereby suppressing it.
