South Lebanon areas bombarded

Israeli occupation troops bombarded towns and villages close to the occupied zone of south Lebanon.

Lebanese security forces said that Israeli artillery shelled the towns of Toulin and Qantara in the central sector and that the shelling was accompanied by heavy machine gun fire from Israeli troops.

The towns of Shaqra, al-Salouqi, and al-Ahkdar as well as the Litani riverbed and Tasseh spring also came under bombardment.

Machine gun salvos were also fired by the Israeli troops at hilly passages linking al-Tuffah district to the occupied part of south Lebanon.
