Number of Sudan's homeless children increases

Reports from the Ministry of Social Planning showed an increase in the number of homeless children in Khartoum and the deterioration of social, health and psychological situations.

The reports said that most of the homeless children in Khartoum originally came from the southern provinces, Kordofan and Darfor, Al Khartoum daily said today.

The reports said there are 36,931 homeless children in the northern provinces, including 900 females, while Khartoum has 14,336 homeless children due to poverty, deterioration of the standard and war in the south.
