Targeting Syria would destabilize the region: Russian Ambassador

Russia's Ambassador to Kuwait Azamat Kulmukhametov on Sunday underlined that Syria is cooperating well with the international investigation committee into the assassination of Lebanese former Premier Rafiq al-Hariri.

The ambassador, in a press speech published in Kuwait today, said it is very important for the investigation to be objective and not politicized. He warned against targeting Syria, adding that this act would destabilize the Middle Easter region as a whole.
