Welsh is tomorrow in Beirut

The Lebanese prime minister Foaud Sinioura told the Lebanese daily Assafir that the US under secretary of state for the Middle East affairs David Welsh will visit Lebanon tomorrow, within the course of his tour on the region.

Sinioura added that Welsh will be meeting also with the Lebanese foreign minister Fawzi al-Salloukh and other figures that Sinioura did not specify, adding that the American side did not announce the program of Welsh's meetings in Beirut.

On the objectives of the visit, Sinioura said it is an explanatory visit on different conditions in the region, adding that it is evident that talks will deal with Lebanese issues, and the expected economic support to Lebanon from the Lebanon's donor states conference.
