FBI investigated Shidyaq ' s assassination attempt

One American team representing the FBI, which had arrived earlier on Wednesday in Beirut, checked the site of the explosion which targeted the Lebanese TV anchor, Mai Shidyaq. Three out of the five experts who arrived in Beirut collected data from the site of the explosions and took pictures for the damaged car of Shidyaq.

The American ambassador to Lebanon, Jeffrey D. Feltman, said that this team which arrived in Lebanon from Jordan will work under the supervision of the Lebanese government. He expressed his country's readiness to meet any aid requested by Lebanon.
