Qabalan underlines strategic relations with Syria

Deputy Chairman of the Islamic Shiite Higher Council Abdulamir Qabalan has underlined the "strategic fraternal" relations between Syria and Lebanon.

During Friday prayers, Qabalan said "We can't live without agreement with Syria since it is our strategic depth and we have to work seriously and honestly to achieve the best relations with Syria." He also called on the Lebanese government to ensure security and stability in Lebanon to prevent foreign intervention.
