Originally published

Lebanese Member of the Parliament and Chairman of the Lebanese Wafaa Resistance Bloc, Mohammad Ra'ad, called for establishing best and distinguished relations between Syria and Lebanon.

In a statement to the press on Monday, Ra'ad said "opening the Lebanese arena for Israel's agents is a dangerous issue that threatens the national unity and security as well as reopens doors for Israel to sabotage in the country."

For his part, Lebanese Former Member of the Parliament Najah Wakim said Syria is the heart of the Arab nation, asserting importance of boosting the Syrian-Lebanese relations.

He added that the issue of the dismantlement of the resistance' arms is targeted by Israel under pretext of implementing the international resolutions, pointing out that the resistance protected Lebanon and created a balance with Israel.

Wakim also warned against foreign plots and intervention in Lebanon's internal affairs that aim at inciting sedition.
