Lahoud-celebration on 60th anniversary of army foundation

President Emile Lahoud of Lebanon said that finding radical solutions to existing crises in the Middle East can only be reached by establishing a just and comprehensive peace based on the international resolutions and abandoning the "policy of might and occupation."

President Lahoud added during an overnight celebration on the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the Lebanese army that Lebanon is facing "political conspiracies that target its firm principles and strategic options in stability, development and stability." He also underscored necessity of protecting Lebanon's unity and national principles as well as its state institutions as well as the need to have a sound reform vision.
