Keftaro condemns the US attacks on Najaf

Syria's Grand Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Keftaro on Friday condemned the US inhuman practices and attacks on the holy places in the Iraqi city of Najaf. Keftaro issued a statement in which he called on the Arab and the Islamic countries "to exert every possible effort to stop such inhuman attacks."

He held the US troops responsibility of aggravation of the situation in Iraq and the attempts to impose solutions on the Iraqi people.
