5 Syrian signs oil contracts with American, Indian companies

A contract of excavating oil and gas was signed Thursday, at the Oil and Mineral Resources Ministry, between Syrian Petroleum Company and each of US "I.P.R Co. " and Indian "O.N.G.C " limited Co.

According to the contract, Syria offers Syrian SPC, US IPR and Indian ONGC the exclusive right to excavate oil and its productions in the north eastern area of Syria.
