Granting nationality to Egyptian mothers’ sons

Egypt's Minister of Interior, Habib el-Adli, issued a decision on granting the Egyptian nationality to 230 sons of Egyptian mothers. This decision came as a result of President Mubarak’s directives at the end of the first Annual Congress of the National Democratic Party (NDP).

Official sources said that the decision involves the sons of Egyptian mothers married either to Arabs or foreigners. Egyptian Authority of Passports, Immigration and Nationality will shortly inform the sons who got the Egyptian nationality .
