Keftaro meets with Iranian clergy

Syria's Grand Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Keftaro, received in Damascus on Monday a delegation of the Iranian clergymen headed by Ayatollah Muqtadai, Chairman of the religious schools.

Talks during the meeting dealt with the importance of cooperation and coordination of efforts and exchange of culture and knowledge in addition to development of the educational and teaching process.

Both sides underlined the importance of boosting the noble values, the civilized dialogue and peaceful coexistence among people.
