Syrian- Iranian educational cooperation

Dean of Economy Faculty of Damascus University, Tarek al-Kheir, and the accompanying delegation discussed in Tehran yesterday with Dean of Iranian Economy Faculty in Asfahen University, Murtadda Samti, means of enhancing and developing relations of cooperation between the two universities.

The two sides reviewed the situation of education in the two faculties stressing the necessity of exchanging professors and expertise.

The two sides agreed to establish an annual joint working group which will be held alternatively in the two faculties and to establish a scientific committee aiming at evaluating scientific research.

Al-Kheir underlined the modernization and development process that Syria is witnessing under President Bashar al-Assad, particularly in education field.

The Economy faculty delegation of Damascus University met also Rector of Kashan University and the Faculty Teaching Staff and discussed means of enhancing relations of scientific cooperation between them.
