Algeria: 25 military men, killed, wounded in an ambush

The Algerian dailies on Monday said that three military men were killed and other 22 wounded on Sunday in an ambush implanted by an armed Islamic group in Skikda region ( 510 Km to the east of the capital Algiers ).

The sources explained that a patrol for the army was exposed, while running in a forest, to several explosions of mortars in al-Alya position between Besi and Buntouz towns.

The first explosion took place when a truck was running and resulted in killing one military man and wounding other ten, while the explosion of a second bomb resulted in wounding seven military men. A third bomb explosion resulted in killing two military men and wounding other five, according to the same sources.
