Arabs and the World Trade Organization

Originally published

The chairman of the Arab economic scientific complex Talal Abu Ghazalleh has called on the Arab states to develop self potentials so as to make use of joining the World Trade Organization.

In a statement to the Kuwaiti daily " al-Seyasah" issued on Wednesday, he described the current phase as very critical in the economic field as a result of the current gigantic changes in the world of competing economic blocs.

He indicated that the world has become governed by interests and the Arabs have to realize this fact and to take the appropriate Arab economic decision through forming a genuine Arab financial council at the support of the government's financial negotiator.
