Khaddam confers with Habash

Syrian vice- President Abdul Halim Khaddam on Sunday in Damascus received the founder of the People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine George Habash and discussed with him " political developments at the Arab and Palestinian levels."

In a statement, the front said that Khaddam stressed during the meeting which was attended by member of the political bureau Abu Ahmad Fuad and member of the central committee Saleh Mubarak " Syria's support to the Palestinian people and their brave Intifada."
