Originally published

The Moroccan Liberal party will hold its constituent congress next April 27 in the Moroccan northern town of Nador, a release by the coordination committee of the Liberals of Morocco said.

The congress will be held under the theme "No Policy is Worth the Freedom of a Moroccan Citizen, No Politician is Worth the Dignity of a Moroccan Citizen," the committee said in the release sent to MAP.

Twenty-eight European liberal parties as well as the Liberal Group at the European Parliament will be invited to the congress. The Liberal party of Canada and the Liberal Party of Senegal will also be invited.

Invitations will be extended to Arab political figures to mark the new party's commitment in favor of Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria as well as its action for the consolidation of Maghreban Unity, the release added.
