The world Islamic conference calls for halting relations with Israel
The world Islamic conference on Friday called for halting all forms of cooperation with Israel, in retaliation to the massacres by the Israeli occupation forces against the unarmed palestinian people which resulted in killing and wounding of thousands of Palestinians.
In a statement, issued in Islam Abad in conclusion of two day deliberations the conference said the catastrophic incidents in the occupied Palestinian territories during the past weeks had shown clearly the absence of joint Arab work by the Arab and Muslim states. A matter which encourages Israel and its allies to continue their aggressions.
The statement called on the member states at the Organization of the Islamic conference to halt all official and non- official activities in the framework of the unilateral and all forms of regional, economic cooperation which includes Israel.
The statement also expressed backing to the establishment of the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as a capital. It called for the return back of the Palestinian refugees to their homeland.
The statement also called on the UN Security Council to establish a court to try the Israelis who were responsible for killing the Arabs as well as to establish an international force to protect the Palestinians under the occupation. It called for the formation of an international committee to investigate in the massacres committed recently in the Palestinian territories.
