OIC committee condemns barbarous crimes by Israel against Palestinians
The standing committee for information and cultural affairs of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) strongly condemned Israel for "provocative measures and barbarous crimes" against Palestinian citizens in the Al Aqsa Mosque and other occupied territories.
Closing their Dakar session meeting, participants adopted Thursday a special statement on Al Quds Acharif and recent killings in Palestine urging the international community to stop profanation of Moslem and Christian sanctuaries and violence against Palestinians.
They also called all Moslem countries to extend assistance to Palestine in every field, especially in the realms of information and communication, and help the Palestinian authority boost its radio and television broadcasting systems.
