Morocco renews infallible backing to Palestinians

Morocco on Tuesday renewed infallible backing to the Palestinian people until they recover all their inalienable rights, including the establishment of an independent state, with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as capital.

Morocco has always played its role on Arab and Islamic scenes and will continue, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, to strive for the preservation of the Arab and Islamic identity of Al-Quds, secretary of state for foreign affairs and cooperation, Taieb Fassi Fihri, told the chamber of advisors (upper house of parliament).

Morocco has adopted a firm position since the outbreak of the current events in the Palestinian territories, he said, recalling the various initiatives made by Morocco in favor of the Palestinian people and cause.
