French FR3 tv crew questioned free to travel
The Errachidia prosecutor issued orders to hand back passports to French television FR3 crew members and open a new complementary investigation of the case.
The crew appeared before the prosecutor to answer charges of filming military facilities, offense to civil-servants and standing in the way of investigation, reports 2M TV. After scrutiny of verbal reports, more light needs to be shed on certain points while reporters are no longer required to stay at the disposal of justice, 2M and other converging sources said.
The TV crew was charged of filming military facilities, mainly an ammunition depot from hillocks overlooking the Tazmamart penitentiary when the Moroccan association staged a peaceful demonstration in remembrance of victims who died or used to be detained in the jail.
