Amnesty International meets with families of victims in Algeria

A delegation from the Amnesty International organization that is currently visiting Algeria convened with the victims of terrorist operations in Helizian city, 300 kilometers west of Algiers.

The delegation also met with relatives and friends of prisoners in the city who told the delegation that the governmental troops have been holding them for years, and nothing is known about their destiny.

Helizian city witnessed many massacres by the Armed Islamic Group in 1998, due to which civilian inhabitants were killed.
