al-Safir: France arrests Zouhair Siddiq
Lebanon-Syria-France, Politics, 10/18/2005

French authorities arrested the Syrian fugitive soldier Mohammed Zouhair Siddiq on the request of the Lebanese prosecutor Saed Mirza and in coordination with the UN Investigation Committee into the former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri assassination, the Lebanese al-Safir newspaper quoted French sources as saying on Monday.

The French sources added that "the Lebanese judicial authorities and the International Committee have launched an investigation to know who stands behind al-Sediq false story," pointing out that a Lebanese figure is suspected in this regard.
