Al-Assad discuss regional issues with Hariri and Muhammad al-Sabah

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday received at the Damascus al-Rawda palace the Lebanese prime minister Rafiq al-Hariri.
Discussions deal with issues debated at the meeting of the Syrian- Lebanese joint economic committee.
Discussions also dealt with Lebanon's preparations to host the coming Arab summit and the efforts made to provide it a success and to conclude decisions that serve Arab causes of destiny.
Earlier in the day, al-Assad received at al-Rawda presidential palace Sheikh Muhammad al-Sakem al-Sabah, Kuwait's minister of state for foreign affairs and members of the accompanying delegation.
The meeting was attended by the deputy premier and foreign minister Farouk al-Shara, and Kuwait's ambassador in Damascus.
Discussions dealt with conditions in the region in light of the escalated Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian people.
Discussions also dealt with the need of revitalizing inter- Arab solidarity in preparations to convening the next Arab summit in Lebanon.
Discussions also dealt with strengthening bilateral relations between the two states.
