New Syrian governments formed, 33 ministers, including 4 prime minister deputies, 17 ministers for the first time

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has released legislative decree no.622 for 2001 provided for the formation of the Government in Syria as follows:
Dr. Muhammad Miro prime minister; Lt. Gen. Mustafa Tlass the deputy premier and defense minister; Muhammad Naji al-Otari the deputy prime minister for services; Farouk al-Shara, the deputy prime minister and the foreign minister; Dr. Muhammad al-Hussein the deputy prime minister for economic affairs; Nasser Qaddour the minister of state for expatriates affairs; the minister of health Dr. Muhammad Eyad al-Shatti; Muhammad Ridwan Marteini the minister of irrigation; Muneab Saem al-Daher the minister of electricity; Muhammad Bin Abdul Raouf Zeyadah the minister of al-Awqaf ( islamic Trusts); Adnan Omran the information minister; Muhammad Heitham Dweihi the minister of state for presidential affairs; Mahmoud al-Sayed minister of education; Muhammad Nabil al-Khatib the minister of justice; Dr. Issam al-Zaem the minister of industry; Dr. Hassan Resheh the minister of higher education; Makram Obeid the minister of transport; Dr. Muhammad al-Atrash the finance minister; Lt. Gen. Ali Hammoud the minister of the Interior; Dr. Ghassan al-Refaee the minister of the economy and foreign trade; Dr. Ibrahim Haddad the minister of oil and mineral resources; Dr. Bashir al-Munajjid the minister of telecommunications, Hilal al-Atrash the minister of local administration; Dr. Saad Allah Agha al-Qalaa for agriculture and agrarian reforms; Dr. Husam al-Aswad the minister of building up and construction; Najwa Qassab Hassan the minister of culture; Adnan Khuzam the minister for environmental affairs; Ayman Wanli the minister of housing and utilities; Mrs. Ghada al-Jabi the minister of social affairs and labor; Bassam Muhammad Rustom the minister of supply and internal trade; Faisal Jawish the minister of state, Abdul Karim Sayed Youssef minister of state and Abdul Naser Abdul Mu'ti Dawoud.
Earlier the President issued decree no 621 for 2001 provided for accepting the resignation of the government of Muhammad Mustafa Miro.
