- Yemeni parliamentary delegation in Germany to ask for handing over al-Mu'ayad
A Yemeni parliamentary delegation yesterday submitted a petition to the German parliament asking for interfering with the German government to permit the return back to Yemen of the two detainees: the chairman of the charity al-Ihsan Center in Sanaa, Muhammad Ali al-Mu'ayad ( 55 year old), and his escort Muhammad Mohsin Zayed ( 29 year old), who are held in Germany since July 10th and demanded for extradition by the US. The Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh has stressed that the tripartite "Yemeni, Ethiopian and Sudanese" coalition is but an open coalition before all countries and that it is not directed against any one, rather an economic, cultural, social and security gathering especially in the area to fighting terrorism. Yemen has stressed its determination to seek by all political and legal means to stop a decision taken by Frankfurt court on the ability of handing over Sheikh Muhammad Ali al- Mu'awyad and his escort who are being held in Germany since January to the USA.
