- Libya agrees to compensate victims of German night club
Qathafi International Foundation for Charitable Associations which is headed by Seif al-Islam al-Qathafi, son of the Libyan leader, said that it agreed to pay compensations for the victims of the explosion which took place in 1986 in a Berlin Club which was used frequented by American soldiers. A French diplomat announced yesterday the determination of Paris to veto the British draft resolution to lift sanctions from Libya if it is put to a vote at the UN security council today.
