Minister of Culture, Farouk Hosni, decided the formation of a committee to be chaired by the head of Egyptian Monuments Division archaeologist Sabri Abdel Aziz for making the final arrangements for opening the new entrance of Luxor Ttemple, which is the same ancient entrance during the pharaonic era. The Egyptian authorities this week arrested the chairman of the agricultural development bank and the secretary of the ministry of agriculture Youssef Abdul Rahman on charges of receiving bribes.
