Jordanian authority arrests returnees from Afghanistan
The Jordanian security bodies arrested yesterday evening a group of individuals entering Jordan from Afghanistan among whom are Iraqi and Algerian citizens. The authority claims that they seek to commit a series of terrorist operations which target Jordanian politicians.
A press statement issued by the Jordanian ministry of interior said that "this group received training on weapons and explosives in camps in Afghanistan and were able to go into Jordan with fake Jordanian and Arabic passports."
