Abdul Meguid meets Bouteflika's personal envoy

Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid received today Mohi El-Din Amimour, the special envoy of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, who is the current head of the Organization of African unity.

The Algerian envoy delivered Abdul Meguid a message from President Bouteflika concerning the situations in Somalia and Sudan aiming at coordination and consultation between the league and Algeria as being the current head of the African unity.

Amimour stated after the meeting that there is an agreement in the points of view between the AL and Algeria and that it was a chance to discuss the requirements of the Arab states at the time being.
