Ethiopian finance minister leaves Sanaa after visiting Yemen

Ethiopia Minister of Finance Sufian Ahmed left Sanaa yesterday after a visit during which delivered a message from Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi to Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

The Ethiopian minister said he is carrying a written message from the Yemeni president to the Ethiopian prime minister concerning relations between the two countries and means of developing them, as well as Yemen's confirmation of resuming its efforts to solve the problem between Ethiopia and Eritrea peacefully within international law.

The Yemeni president expressed his hope while receiving the Ethiopia envoy yesterday that peace and stability will prevail in the African Horn area, assuring his country's adherence to solving the Ethiopia - Eritrea conflict peaceful.
