Kuwaiti crown prince heads to USA today for recovery

Kuwaiti Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Salem al-Sabah is heading today to the USA to resume medical checkups which were halted so he could contribute to the opening of the new parliamentary session on October 26 out of his adherence to performing his national duty.

The deputy prime minister and minister of state for Cabinet affairs, Muhammad Dayfallah al-Sharar, said after the weekly meeting of the Kuwaiti Cabinet yesterday which was held under the chairmanship of Sheikh Saad, that the crown prince informed the Cabinet of his intentions to travel to the USA to resume medical checkups.
